KID'S CLAY GALLERY 8
MY YOUNG ARTIST
Arthur Tan
" Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." Pablo Picasso, painter and Sculptor (1881-1973) Children are vibrant, active, colorful and imaginative, it is best to harness their creativity while they are still young. When they reached adulthood they loose that creative child essence. Famous abstract painter execute their arts with that child like essence, spontaneous and free from any restriction. That is why Pablo Picasso Said: "It takes a very long time to become young." The same sentiment is also shared by English painter David Hockney, "When you're very young, you suddenly find this marvellous freedom, it's quite exciting, and you're prepared to do anything." As Mentor, I merely taking advantage of their young perception and thinking to develop their artistic creativity. Exposing them to the famous abstract modern painters, Picasso, Miro, Klee, Matisse, Dali, Calder, kandinsky, Munch, Gorky ...........have help many of them to improve and appriciate the Arts.Arthur Tan have been taking Drawing and Play Clay lesson since 2001, when he was four and the half years old. He is now a very confident kid, creating his own ideas, both in drawing and clay. Asking him to visually study the famous master work he copied and produced it with interesting result.
Arthur is creating his own seashore and recreation in polymer clay, complete with roads housing, terminal and miniature boats

"Sending a big heart felt hug to Arthur...what a wonderful young man he is, so much talent and a big heart for charity! It's a great thing to teach kids. There is just to much "Me, me, me" in our society and not enough "I will share". Thank you, Dweeble"
"Way to go, Arthur! Good job. Aren't you proud of how much you helped out? That is alot of money you earned! Susan"
