Garie, I think it is
wonderful that you spend so much time bringing the love of art
to children. I look at their bright little faces and can
see how proud they are as they show off the things they made.
You are instilling confidence in their hearts. And not
many people realize how important that is.

Hi, Thanks,
The greatest feeling of satisfaction about teaching polymer clay
arts, are their finish projects. It makes them independent and
confident into creating PC arts, it also help them in their school
works.

Garie

Hi Again,
I would love to do
this - I love working with younger people. Whenever you get a
moment to think of how/what we can do - I would be honored to
work with you in any way I could. You are a star among stars!!!!
I love the idea of guiding younger people to an understanding
as to art and how each person can and does relate to it. how
important colors are to each person and general appreciation
of how there is beauty throughout the world - waiting to be discovered.
You bring out the best
in the children ......they are looking soooo happy.
Thank you for the though..Rickie
Beth

Thank YOU Rickie, I have also work with ADHD, Autistic, Dyslexia,
for years, I am very happy that their conditions improve through
my play classes, in fact, they are very creative children. These
special kids are treated the same as other kid in my regular
classes, there is no differentiation in my creative clay teaching.
I will always happy to help kids to be confident and independent,
if there is any thing that we can work together, I will be happy
to do so.

Hi Garie,
As always, I appreciate
that you post these great pictures of your kids and their artwork.
I am always amazed at their creations and their imagination.
What a wonderful teacher you must be to get these kids interested
to the point of doing such great art!
No matter what I do,
I can't seem to get my grandsons interested at all in creating
anything...LOL. I have bookmarked your site to show them
as inspiration. I'm sure they will love the Aquatic creatures,
swords, bones, haunted house and the transporters!!
I love the dioramas,
the Hinamatsuri Dolls, hair bends and all of the other artwork
I see here. Oh yeah, the pictures frames are great too.
I hope you continue
to do what you do and to keep showing us the amazing creations
of these young children. Please tell them how much we appreciate
them and their art!
Linda

Hello Linda, how are
you ?
Thank You, "No matter what I do, I can't seem to get my
grandsons interested at all in creating anything...LOL. ",
Well, it is always difficult to teach your own kid or grandson,
that's what our kids parent have been saying. Especially they
are so use to us at home been parent and grandma, its also the
environment. If you put a group of 6 to 8 kids together, they
will play, playing is the key to teaching clay. Another thing
about children, you must know their interests and communicate
with them on subject of their interest, toy game, etc.
Thanks, I will convey
your message to our students.
Regards,
Garie

Your kids continue to do the most awesome work! I love
it when you share your class pics! It's really hard
to pick a favorite, but I love the Cheshire Cat! That young
man did a fabulous job on the cat's smile! I think I want
to make a Hinamatsuri doll... How young do I
need to be to join your class? :)
