Hi , saw your info on the internet and was quite impressed. I am going to Central America next week and will be teaching Vacation Bible School to 7&8 yr olds. I just had the idea to let them make a bead to resemble the Earth-hence "whole world in His hands". It is a remote village, without electricity.
Can any polymer clay be air-dried? It will be hot, and I do have 3 days. If not, how long can I wait before getting it into the oven?
Any easy hints on how to make Earth easily and to a room full of kids?
I look forward to haring from you,but need an answer really soon.

Thanks!
Robin

What is Ceramofix?

You can use alluminum or metal saucepot, 8 inches diameter, 10 inches diameter etc. depending on your PC project, use oven thermometer to monitor the temperature

DO NOT USE PLASTER TILE OR CERAMIC TILE WITH THIS COOKING METHOD USING COOKING POT METHOD TO CURE POLYMER CLAY COMBINED WITH OTHER MATERIALS GARIE'S COOKING POT TECHNIQUE FOR CURING POLYMER CLAY BEADS AND OTHERS DIFFERENT COOKING TEMPERATURE BETWEEN THE BIG AND THE SMALL SAUCEPOT

" This tall gentleman was started at the same time as the goblin. Also a case of too large hands, so I just elongated all his limbs. He is propped up as his original base kept coming loose and he is not fully attached to his new one. He is waiting for his jacket and his jacket is waiting for my new embossing gun which has been on order for four weeks and counting.

All three of them were finally baked in a pot as recommended by Garie Sim http://www.garieinternational.com.sg/, just a little bigger than what he recommended, the pot is roughly 60cm across and the Plaster of Paris took a couple of weeks to dry. In the end I had to bake the water out of it. "
