comments, all pvc straws will not melt in the oven.
There is a certain amount of shrinkages after baking in the oven
for 20 to 30min. at 130ºC. It will bent slightly, cut short
straws, are needed to position the arms and legs into the Robot
torso.
After the baking process you can glue fresh straw to the arm,
legs and head.
