Hi Garie,
I got your contact from Yanni.
My name is Chee Tian, and I'm
making an independent children short film entitled "Colours".
It is a modern fairytale about a colour-blind girl's struggles
to find colours in her life, how she got more than she bargained
for, and how she finally attained harmony of colours with the
world around her, when she realized that it is as important to
give as it is to take.
In the film, we have a prop
which is a pair of magic glasses. When the colour-blind girl
puts it on, her black & white world suddenly transforms into
a psychedelic one!
We have come up with a design
of the specs, but we've been having problem finding someone who
can construct it for us.
I saw your works on your website,
and am fascinated by the skills and creativity that you possess!
I'd like to find out if you would be able to assist us in creating
the magical prop with your excellent craftsmanship?
We are planning to start shooting
from 19 Jun onward. Hope to have your reply soon so that we can
determine if we will be able to shoot with our desired design,
or have to use whatever's available from a toy shop. We would
definitely wish to be able to have our custom-made glasses.....
Thank you for looking into
our request. We look forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Chee Tian

which made this possible!

Chee Tian

July 12, 2007
Dear Chee Tian Lee:
It is my pleasure to inform you that "Colours" has
been selected for inclusion in the 11th annual Rhode Island International
Film Festival (RIIFF) to be held August 7th-12th, 2007.
This year, we again received over 2,000 film submissions from
across the globe and it was no easy task selecting the very best
of our entries, so a hearty and well-deserved congratulations!
Please let us know the exhibition format you would like to screen
with. This will help us determine an appropriate theater.
We will try to accommodate your request though some venues can
only screen a DVD. I hope to have the screening times completed
by July 20th at the very latest. Once a venue is
determined, we would appreciate delivery of your assigned exhibition
format by Friday, July 27th, 2007.
